Easy truth number 1: 97% of all network marketing businesses fails. I know you have been told differently and/or maybe you just don't know the truth and that your up line has the answers and the better way, a better organization and a better whatever. Trust me I was there I have heard all the same lies; I hear them everyday from folks who just aren't frustrated enough yet to look at the truth. Just go look at the actual numbers, the facts about home based business and network marketing. Your company is not different; they just frame it better or in a more digestible way. Network marketing is network marketing; there is no easy way around the truth. Easy truth number 2: 15% of the 97% who quit, still consume the product or service. Read that again if you need to, I can tell you that this is a must to understand these numbers. The 15% of the people who still consume the product or service is the key to YOUR success in network marketing. You see most network companies have a great product. The issue is they don't have the dollars to compete in advertising with the big fortune 500 companies, so they rely on word of mouth otherwise known as network marketing for their advertising. To induce word of mouth advertising the thrown in an incentive, otherwise known as opportunity, to get your mouth working for them. Now don't get upset, we have all fallen for this at some point that just makes us human. Since our infancy we have been trained to look for the great American opportunity. So here's the easy truth in reverse thinking, otherwise known as correct thinking. Turn those numbers in your favor and you will realize how powerful network marketing can be and be living the dream you always wanted. So let’s look at the numbers with consideration of these two truths. First and foremost you must understand truth number 2 to alleviate truth number 1. Lets say we have 100 people in our down-line, first is 97 of them are going to quit. So when your family says no, or your friends say no they are actually doing you the favor of not being active and later on a bigger disappointment. Stop even mentioning the product to your family and friends, its all negative no matter how you look at it. Okay, back to the 3 who stay out of the 100, great you have 3 people in your down line who are working the system and consuming the product. Now we have 14 people of the 97 who quit, who are consuming the product as well. Now we have 17 people consuming the product and driving your business. Folks this is a great thing, the 17 is where the profit is. I know your saying 17 is not enough, true but its probably 17 more active members than most people have right now. Remember the 17 is only from our first 100 new reps. The key is building a system that can add 100's by the month and retain 17 each and every month at a minimum. Just think after just one year, that's 204 active people in YOUR down-line.
