Should You Invest in a Low Cost Franchise?
By Roger Morad

In this article I will discuss the advantages of investing in low cost franchise opportunities.

With the franchises out there requiring high investments of $200,000 or more, what really is the difference between those guys and the lower cost franchises?

High investment franchisors are 95% of the time franchises that require needs that the lower cost guys don't. These include restaurants and hotels mainly. An example of a lower cost franchise could be something such as a coupon mailer franchise. There is a low overhead cost because there is not much cost that goes into printing out coupon mailers. Restaurants and hotels require a great amount of construction, real estate, and equipment.

When choosing a franchise, it really all comes down to how secure you want your investment to be.

You could invest $300,000-$400,00 and essentially be guaranteed to have a secure investment for your future.

Then on the other hand, you could invest $15,000 in an operation that is not proven and be out of business in 6 months. This is not likely to happen, but it definitely is possible. There are low cost franchises that have been implemented in the franchisees market and made the franchisee a great amount of ROI. Market research is an essential tool one must take part in before making an investment that will change their life. The pre-planning is even more important then the actual decision.

The basic principles of supply and demand should be looked at in any market before an investment is made.

Franchising can be of great reward to all involved, but research is essential.
