It is interesting how everybody tells you that you should set goals. The real question is how do you reach the goals you already set? Should you make more? A goal is defined as the end or final purpose reached or accomplished. I am not going to spend a lot of time explaining how to set a goal except to say that in order to reach a goal you must have an end point or a date. A goal without an end point is just a nap. So for the sake of this article I am going to assume that you have a date in mind to reach your goal.

It Is Time To Play By Some Old Rules In A New Way

Now lets get unrealistic. Oh yeah, a goal is the most unrealistic option that life provides. Think about it, why do you have to set goals it is because we are not naturally focused. So if by nature we are not focused the act of being focused or making a goal must be unnatural. So to pretend that a little is okay when we really want a lot more is another deception that prevents us from reaching our goals.

Now the way this all works is really simple. Take a lesson from your toes. Notice how they point forward that is because we were designed to walk forward not backwards. A goal for the most part is going backwards. Let me explain it like this. Think of the best movie you have ever seen or book you have ever read. Good writers already know the end of the story first before they write. So the story is developed by how they get to the end. See that is backwards.

Now we can learn a valuable lesson from this analogy. When the writer writes many things may change but no matter what 99.9% of the time the goal or the end of the story remains the same. So what does this tell us? Well, the best way to reach a goal is to act after you have set it as if it has already come true. Let me repeat that. Act like It Is Yours And then You Will Have It

Let me prove my point to you this way. Can a glass be full and empty at the same time. Realistically no. You cannot have both conditions present at the same time. So why should we try and reach our goals since they are unrealistic with realistic techniques? How many times have you written down your goals only to not reach them. True it makes sense to write your goals down. But if you want to reach them it makes more sense to act them out and start living them instead.

So if you want a six-figure income act like you already have it. If you want a new car drive the one you have like it is brand new. If you want a new house then act like where you are living is your new home. Then one day you will find yourself there.

Let me tell you something about life. Life is amazing. If you have ever received a promotion on a job did they give it to you because they liked you or because you were already acting the part? We have so many lessons in life that teach us how to do this. On a job you were already the manager before you had the title. Then one day you were promoted.

The same is true about your home-based business online. You have to believe that you have already arrived. If you think for one minute that you are building a business then you are not being unrealistic enough. Your business is already built you just have to work in an unrealistic way to make it come to fruition.

Let Your Goals Work For You

Let your goals drive you. Everyday is a new opportunity for you to get closer to having your goals fulfilled. Let your goals work for you. Once you set a goal act on it. I do not mean that you should run out and accumulate huge debt. But go and sit in that nice car you like. Visit open houses. You need to realize that when you achieve your goal this is where you will be. What a thought. It is already yours and only you can mess this up. Believe then achieve.

Dismiss all negative thoughts. Distance yourself from people who do not share your vision. Find like-minded people to share your thoughts with and live your life right now like you want it to become. Who said that you have to wait?

When I first met my wife about 8 years ago. She impressed me in so many ways. Here was a woman that had nothing. I mean literally nothing. But she carried herself as if she had it all. No she was not arrogant or stuck up. She was just very sure of herself and her goals. So much that when I went over her house to pick her up for a date I was shocked.
