Your Finger Prints Show Your Personalities and Potentials - An Introduction
By George Ong

To know a person personalities and potentials, one of the most objective ways is to refer to the study of finger prints (Dermatoglyohics) which is tested and proven with statistic. Traditional, finger prints are just used to show identity of a person. Also, in the far east, the Chinese use the patterns on the palm to tell the past and future of a person, but these patterns on the palm may change over times. Finger prints are the only thing that will not change no matter what happen to your finger. For example, you have suffered a terrible fire and your skin was burnt. After some times, when your skin grows back, the pattern on the finger print will still remain the same. It is simply because your finger print reflect your DNA and your DNA can never be changed physically!

However, your born personalities may not be 100 percent reflected on your finger print due to the fact that everyone will go through different education background, living environment and our surrounding, trainings that we have participated before, our working experiences and so on. Therefore, while we grow older, our personalities may be changed a bit due to the above factors but the inner personalities and thinking will always be the same.

In the study of finger prints, we study loops and whorls on our fingers. In general there are about nine different patterns and each tells a different personalities and potentials. Each personality show different strengths and weaknesses in many ways. In general, the people with loops are generally more sensitive and emotional and people with whorls are generally goal and figure oriented.

It is so possible that after we have understood and realized our strengths, we can further develop and maximize our strengths, then put ourselves in the right position to do the right job to get the right result!

On the other hand, after we have understood and realized our weaknesses, we have avoid them, participate in training to change them, or just simply change our mindset to other personalities when we do not need our weaknesses!

For example, I am a typical emotional and sensitive people. I am very good with people but very bad in numbers. However, in my business planning, I twist myself into more figure-oriented because I cannot afford to be subjective in my financial planning.

However, our strengths can be our weaknesses and vice versa on different situation and occasions. The application of finger print study is a good reference in identifying right people in the right job, motivating employees with the right methods, closing deals with the right language, communicating with the right channel and etc.

In the future articles, I will share more on the different types of personality and what potentials you have to help your career advancement.
