Tax Deductions For Your Business Expenses - Apply & Save
By Jim R. Roberts

For many business owners this can mean the deference between profit and failure. But the truth is it doesn't have to be a guessing game where your financial prosperity hangs in the balance. As a matter of fact I have compiled a list of some of the most powerful tax deductions you can receive for all sorts of business expenses. So, let's get started!

The Tax Deduction Mind-Set

Before I get started with the tax deductions for your business expenses, I first wanted to share with you the one thing that can make or break it all, The Mind-Set.

So, what is this mind-set? Well, it's simply the act of paying attention to your unique tax saving opportunities. For example, did you know that as of lately Uncle Sam (the government) has been providing all kinds of "unique tax saving opportunities" for small business owners. And if you pay attention it can mean big savings for you. So, let's go through a couple.

1st Tip

This is one that every business owner can use. Start out by evaluating your expenses by grouping them together and naming them. For example, the IRS sates that most office supplies and equipment can be deductible. That means pens, pencils, paper, computers, printers, tables, chairs, phones, filing cabinets, etc. See how powerful this can be. Oh, and be sure to save your receipts.

2nd Tip

This is not a tax deduction for a business expense, but still very powerful none the less. If you have a favorite charity that you're always making donations to (whether through cash or material goods) you get a tax deduction. And paying tithing to your church counts too.

There is so much more that I could share, but I think you get the point. Just remember, the key here is to apply what you've learned. Applied knowledge is power! And you can use it to save money.
