I'm always talking about the importance of building a database of names because it is the one thing proven to drive prospects, sales and profits directly to you.

Marketing Will Work for You Too!

Here's a quick synopsis of what you need to do...

  • Place your friends, neighbors, family members and business contacts in your marketing database.
  • Call them regularly to strengthen your relationship with them.

That's it! That's all I think you should do in your warm market! This is especially important if you've been known to go from one network marketing business to the next.

Why This Is Important.

If you can do those two things, over time you will accomplish 3 things:

  • demonstrate your commitment to your business,
  • demonstrate your commitment to the people in your database &
  • demonstrate your commitment to your own hopes and dreams.

Its been proven that your marketing message (your ad) must be seen at least 7 times before a prospect will consider doing business with you. But experts also say that only 1 out of every 3 ads makes an impression.

That means you might have to market yourself 21 times or make 21 favorable buying impressions before they will consider doing business with you!

It takes even longer to become their trusted advisor so financial services professionals need to be especially diligent about creating & strengthening relationships. That is the only way they can move from being not just someone's insurance agent, CPA or financial planner but their trusted advisor.

If you are a financial services professional, becoming their trusted advisor also involves more effort on your part than a newsletter and phone call. But that's a topic for another article!

So Don't Forget... Build a database, market and stay in touch with them!
